Resident of Richmond, CA
Anthony said goodbye Feb. 1, 2021. Born at home in Richmond Sante Fe housing to Martin and Salome Linan. WWII veteran and served in Leyte, PH. After the war he was employed at Kaiser ship yard then accepted for employment at Standard Oil-Chevron. Began as a barrel roller then pipe fitter, and promoted to Supvr. of Maint. He retired after 40 years.
He worked long irregular hours to provide for his family. In retirement years, his health conditions dictated when he was able to attend breakfasts/luncheons with family, friends and other retirees. He enjoyed Cache Creek excursions with family; treating them generously.
Predeceased by first wife, parents, his sister Margaret, brothers Andres and Mike. He is survived by daughters Marlene, Marie, Heidi; grand-daughters, great grand-children, nephews, nieces, cousins, and second wife.
Dad will be greatly missed by those that loved him.
