<p>Ola R. Hill<br /> <br /> Ola R. Hill, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 1, 2021. Robbie, as she was affectionately called, was born on February 2, 1934, in Rolla, MO. <br /> <br /> Robbie married Alyan R. Hill in 1952 and it was a union that lasted sixty-three years until the death of her beloved Ray in 2018. Robbie traveled the world with her Air Force husband, loving in many locations across the US and Germany. Ray contacted MS in 1977 as a result of being wounded during the Korean Conflict. Ray then became severely limited in mobility and Robbie became his constant caregiver, a role she performed with compassion and determination. <br /> <br /> Robbie and Ray made Albuquerque their home, close to the mountains that she dearly loved. Robbie volunteered at the VA Hospital many years where she logged well over one hundred thousand hours.<br /> <br /> Robbie is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; parents, Louis and Marguerite Bauman; and son Eric Hill. She leaves behind brothers, Ken and Elmer Bauman; sister Vashti Bauman, all reside in North Carolina.<br /> <br /> Space doesn’t allow to include all of Robbie’s attributes, or contributions to the world. She was an unassuming personality, but she made tremendous impact on everyone she met.
