Lucile Bikim Obituary

Lucile Bikim (of Ashton MD), transitioned into the hands of the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2021. My beloved mother passed away quietly in her sleep by a natural cause. Our love one was Born August 15, 1946 in Kelle Ndongond, Cameroon. Lucile was the daughter of the late Thomas Daquin Bikim and Sophie Ngo Mbock. Mother Lucile was raised in the Center region of Cameroon. She attended her Elementary school in Kelle Ndongond.

Lucile starts working at her younger age and gave birth to four wonderful kids. She starts her own small business at the young age before marrying and raising her children with the help of her parents. In 1999 she migrated to America to be close to her kids.

Lucile was smart, quiet, humble, and passionate. She was loving, caring and generous. She taught us to love God and always assist those in need. Lucile was the matriarch of our family and she was my rock and the best mother anyone can ask for.

Lucile had many passions, including walking, gardening, and cooking. She was very active in her Catholic faith; she frequently attended daily mass and pray two to three times a day. She was faithful to God and abide to the ten commandments. She dedicated her time to numerous family Non-Profit Organization. For the past 20 years she was a permanent member of Nyong & Kelle family Association USA.

My mother left a legacy as the matriarch of the Bikim family. She was a devoted sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, as well as a dedicated, loving friends. She is survived by her two sons, John Bikim and Albert Bikim, a daughter Sophie-Paule Ngo Mbock. She was adored and will be missed greatly by her eleven grandchildren: Cathy, Gaelle, Rodrigue, Etienne, John M., Samuel, Dylan, Lucile, John-Paul, Ariane Cainell, Michael, and Salomon as well as her three great-grandchildren, Derick Jr, Divine and Desideratus.

We give a special thanks to all of you for your love and generosity to our family during these difficult moments. May our Almighty God continue to protect and provide abundantly to you.

Peace and Love.
