Kathleen Victoria Thiessen St. Catharines, Ontario Obituary

Kathleen Victoria Thiessen

Kathleen (Kaye) Victoria Thiessen - On Monday morning February 1, 2021, our dearest Mother moved to her Heavenly home at the beautiful age of 92. Mom loved her Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, with all her heart along with reading God's Word and praying for her family. This is the beautiful legacy Mom left to her children, grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Only Heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithfulness has had on her family and friends. Kaye was known to many of our friends as “Mom”. She also was quite the knitter - we all have knitted sweaters and afghans to cherish her memory. To quote her grandson Nicholas, “Nana is likely knitting for all her Angels that have been with her all these years”. Kaye is predeceased by her husband Thomas George Gale 1971; William Thiessen 1988. She is survived by her children - Brian (Pat) Gale, Janet (Terry) Hemphill, Diane (Domenic) Paonessa, Susan Gale- Wolbert, Kevin Gale, Kathy (Gary) Arenburg, predeceased by her daughter Nancy Gale. Also survived by her step-daughters Sharon (Paul) Filsinger, Edwina Smiley, Gwendolyn (Scott) Davidson, Genevieve (Marty) Theobald and predeceased by Danny (Kim) Thiessen and Grace (John) Fulton. Kaye is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 5/21 at 1:00 pm via Z00M for extended family and friends (due to COVID-19 restrictions)
