Mario C. Ventresca, Sr. age 73, of East Norriton, PA passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021. He was born in Bugnara, Italy on August 15, 1947. Mario immigrated to the United States when he was 16, and worked hard to achieve his U.S. citizenship, which he was most proud of. He lived most of his life in the Norristown area, working initially as an auto mechanic. Ultimately, he owned and operated gas stations and auto service centers and developed a following of customers that became lifelong friends. Mario was an excellent cook, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandson, and he enjoyed fishing, restoring old cars and auto races. He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie (Kallenbach) Ventresca; son, Mario (& Pamela) Ventresca, Jr.; and grandson, Mario C. Ventresca, III, his brother Daniel and his sister, Maria Laura.
