<div role="listitem" style="clear:both;" tabindex="-1"> <div id=":lt"> <div data-legacy-message-id="1776ec462c3a12bb" data-message-id="#msg-a:r7624603871874377082"> <div id=":mg"> <div id=":nd"> <div dir="ltr"> <p dir="ltr">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">Leonard James &ldquo;Jimmy&rdquo; Ebrey, age 67, of Godfrey, Illinois passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his residence.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">He was born July 16, 1953 in Alton, Illinois the son of Leonard and Thelma Irene Carpenter Ebrey.&nbsp; He married Robert Bryant Andrews, Sr. on February 19, 2017 and they passed away simultaneously on February 1, 2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">Jimmy was a customer service representative for Mastercard in St. Louis, Missouri for several years before retiring.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">He graduated from Reno, Nevada High School.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">Survivors include 14 step children Brandy Apple, Robert Andrews, Jr., Brandon Andrews, Bridgette Andrews, Genevieve Black, Jeremy Gowan, Alicia Andrews, Josh Andrews, Dylan Andrews, Jamie Andrews, Randy Andrews, Blake Andrews, Brock Andrews and Bryce Andrews.&nbsp; 1 brother Richard Ebrey (Linda).&nbsp; 1 sister Dorothy Knox.&nbsp; 24 step grandchildren.&nbsp; 2 step great grandchildren.&nbsp; Numerous nieces and nephews and cousins.&nbsp; Special friend/nephew Lee Ebrey (Tonya), special friend/niece Alyson Ebrey (Josh), who is expecting a baby that Jim was thrilled about and special friends Jeremy and Matthew Myers. &nbsp; His mother-in-law Kay Anderson.&nbsp; Special sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and a special friend Tony Marzuco.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother Kenneth Ray &ldquo;Rocky&rdquo; Ebrey, 3 sisters Judy Ogle, Dixie Beddingfield and Marilyn Shank and his stepfather Julius Wegs.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">We know that Jimmy deserves a beautiful tribute and understand that under normal circumstances many friends would love to attend.&nbsp; But sadly due to the current health situation and under the direction of the local health department, the services are to be conducted with only family members in attendance.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">Friends are encouraged to watch the joint services for both Jimmy and Robert streaming live at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 on the funeral home website at hendrickerfuneralhome.com.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">Burial of the cremated remains will follow in the Benville Cemetery in Brown County, Illinois.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">We also encourage the community to leave a condolence or remembrance on the website for the family.&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">There will be no visitation.&nbsp;</span></strong></p> <p dir="ltr"><strong><span id="docs-internal-guid-a8d055cf-7fff-8630-dd4f-6a2d2090e6ba">Memorials are suggested to the Quincy Humane Society and may be left at or mailed to the Hendricker Funeral Home, 406 South Capitol Avenue, Mt. we meet Jimmy at Benville cemetery several years ago he would decorated the church outside and decorate the graves .He was very nice to us and he knew some of our family. He will  be missed.when we go down to Benville will put a flower on his grave .Jeff and John
