Karen Irene Middleton, age 56, of Fostoria, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit after her battle from her long term illness. Karen was born in Lapeer, MI. on September 15, 1964, the daughter of Charles and Norma Jean (Farrington) Oliver Sr. She grew up in the North Branch Area and was a 1982 graduate of North Branch High School. Karen lived many years in
Texas. She was an elementary teacher. Karen enjoyed watching her children playing sports and spending time with them.
Karen is survived by her daughter Andrea Middleton; her son, Ben Middleton; her sisters, Laurene (Gerald) Judd, Pamela Thurlow and Charlene (Robert) Wheaton; her brothers, Albert (Kristi) Oliver, Bob (Terri) Oliver and Chuck Oliver Jr.; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
Visitation for Karen will be on Saturday, February 6, 2021, 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. at Fostoria Baptist Church. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Steven Henry officiating.
