Edmundo (Mundo) Olivas, 81, from Sun City, AZ passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years Ranulfa Olivas;son and his wife, Oscar and Regina Olivas;daughter and her husband, Deyanira and Pedro Aranda; three grandchildren, Michael Olivas, Justin and his wife Veronica Aranda, Yesenia Aranda; and two great grandchildren, Eliza Aranda, Gabriel Carbajal; and many more family members and friends. Mundo was born in San Buenaventura (El Valle), Chihuahua, Mexico. He came to the US in 1963, eventually settling in Arizona in 1973. Along with being a loving husband and father, Mundo was a very hard working man and a friend to all. He worked hard to be able to give his family what they needed to succeed. He supported them in every way possible and was always there for them. Mundo will also always be known for being a friend to all. He really enjoyed meeting and talking with people. One of his greatest attributes was making people laugh. With close friends he enjoyed taking the opposingposition on topics just to stir things up. Mundo was a strong man; he never gave up and went down fighting to the end. No matter what the situation was, Mundo’s words which will forever echo in our minds, “no se rajen” (never give up)and he never did. Mundo will be deeply missed.
