Raymond Joseph Giroir, 86, a native of Plattenville and a resident of Thibodaux, passed away on February 1, 2021. Visitation will be held Saturday, February 6, 2021, at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Thibodaux Funeral Home, at 11:00 am. Burial will take place in the St. Joseph Cemetery - Thibodaux. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Duet Giroir; daughter, Lisa Smith (Duane); sons, Craig Giroir, Darrell Giroir (Sheila); grandchildren, Amber Poche' (RJ), Misti Savoie (Lane) and Garrett Smith; great-grandchildren, Hunter Poche', Ryder Poche', Elizabeth Savoie and Katherine Savoie. He was preceded in death by his Father, Bernard Giroir; mother, Irma Mayet Giroir; brother, Frank Giroir; sister, Thelma Ott.
