Harvey Goodman lived an extraordinary life. He lived life on his terms and passed away on his terms.  He left us on January 21, 2021, in the morning, peacefully with his son holding his hand.  Services will take place on a date yet to be determined when all can safely gather to celebrate his life.

Harvey was born on November 21, 1938, in the Bronx, New York.  He grew up in a loving family which included his mother Carla, his father Harry, sister Arleen, and brother Edward.  At age 17 he joined the Navy during which time he spent traveling the world on the first guided missile cruiser. Upon his return from his naval voyages, he met his wife of 47 years, Rosalie Rapisarda.

Harvey then spent time in the garment industry and started his own company, Harve Bernard. With the help of his wife Rosalie, the company became a very successful household name brand.  He retired at the young age of 42. He spent his free time with his family and many friends.  Harvey enjoyed the simple things in life, boating, fishing, shooting, going to the mountains, and he had a great love for his dogs.

Harvey is survived by his children, Sondra, Craig, and Brian, his six grandchildren, Sophia, JC, Julian, Adia, Hudson, and Getty, all of whom love him very much. He is also survived by his brother, Edward and sister, Arleen, and his loving nieces and nephews, as well as his trusty hound, Serious.
