David Wilton Robinson, Sr.

David Wilton Robinson Sr. of Middleton, Ct. died on January 19, 2021. He was 56 years old. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Ballard; his grandmother, Frances Robinson; his aunt, Edith Williams; his uncles, Oliver Robinson and Cecil Williams Sr.; godfather, John J. Abramson Sr.; godmothers, Ida May Heyward and Norine Abramson; and cousins, Beatrice and Sonny Tripp. He is survived by his daughter, Jamilah Robinson; son, David Wilton Robinson Jr., grandson, Elias Robinson, wife of eighteen years, Patricia Powell; brother, Edward Robinson; cousins, Judith Williams; Cecil Williams Jr. Ann and Wayne Tripp; godbrother, John J. Abramson Jr. godsisters, Charlene Abramson Joseph and Shawn Abramson Samuel; goddaughter, Salihah R. Matthew and godson Londyn Dixon. Special Friends: Darrin and Holly McCalla, Sanford Livingston, Carl Morgan, The Brothers of Omega Psi Phi (Tau Iota), Marvin Bazemore, Harold Hart, Raymond Amaker, Rudy Thomas, Larry Jenkins, Kedrick Robinson, Toney Powell, Julius “Tito” Shields Jr. Kedrick Robinson, Latoya Mills-Forest, Anthony Moye.
