Sue Ellen Burchett age 78 of Tram, wife of William Burchett passed away from this life on Saturday January 30th, 2021 at Pikeville Medical Center. Sue was born on March 26th, 1942 in Pike County to the late Henry Gibson and Gladys Parson Gibson. Sue was a homemaker and member of Harold Church of Christ. Along with her husband she is survived by three children: Eddie Burchett and his wife Jackie of Tram, James Burchett and his wife Angie of Salyersville and Beverly Ann Burchett of Grethel; one daughter in-law: Tabitha Burchett; 12 grandchildren and a host of Great-Grandchildren. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons: Richard Burchett and Kenneth Vernon Burchett; and one grandson. Funeral services for Mrs. Burchett will be held Wednesday February 3rd, 2021 at 12noon at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home in Martin with Pastor Paul Rowe officiating. Burial will follow at Burchett Cemetery, Tram. Visitation will begin Monday February 1st, 2021 after 7pm until 10pm and continue all day Tuesday.
