Gene Randall Blair, age 68, of Frankfort, KY, formerly of Knott County,passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Gene was born at Spider, KY on August 29, 1952 to Willard Blair and Mildred Watts Blair. Gene was a wonderful Husband, Papaw, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle and would do anything for any family member or friend in need. Gene was a member of Grafenburg Christian Church, Charter Member and former Chief of Hindman Vol Fire Dept, Long time Ky State Fire Service Instructor, Retired Kentucky State Environmental Response Team, Avid Outdoorsman, Fisherman, Hunter, Baseball fan, outdoor cook, dirt track race fan and loved to travel. Survived by: Wife- Billie Jo Blair Mother- Mildred Blair Daughter- Lisa Marie (Daniel) Kirk Grandchildren- Dale D. Burial will follow at the Mountain Memory Gardens at Hindman, KY. Visitation will be held at the Chapel, Tuesday from 11AM until the start of services at 2PM.
