<p>Douglas Dana, 68 of Bellaire, Ohio died Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born October 4, 1952 a son of the late John Dana Jr. and Mildred (Williams) Johnson in Westerly, RI. Despite being born deaf and battling Cerebral Palsy, Douglas never allowed anything to limit him. He worked as a forklift operator for Darling Fabrics for many years. He was an avid sports fan and his favorites included the Minnesota Vikings, New York Yankees and Notre Dame. He was a woodworker and furniture maker and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved his garden and feeding the birds and he collected beer steins and Beatles albums.&nbsp; Douglas was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother John. He is survived by his sister and best friend Joanne Adams of Bellaire, OH, his children, Marie Alfred of Providence, RI and John Fullmore of Germany. In addition he is survived by his uncle Eugene Dana of Pleasanton, CA, 2 grandchildren Lena and Johnny, his nephews, Dale, David and Douglas Adams; as well as, several great-nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes no formal services will be held. Final disposition will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions will benefit Cerebral Palsy and Non-Hodgkin&rsquo;s Lymphoma Research and Treatment.</p>
