James W. Hatton Jr. , age 73, of Hazard, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, the owner of Hatton Trucking Company, a HAM Radio Operator and a member of the Hunter Memorial Baptist Church in Lost Creek as well as the Masonic Lodge 905 in Krypton. He was born on November 1, 1947 in Perry County, KY to the late James Hatton Sr. and the late Susie Baker Hatton. He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Deborah Jones Hatton; one daughter: Jamie Combs (Ethan) of Nicholasville, KY; one son: James William Hatton III of Hazard, KY; one sister: Sharon Hatton of Lost Creek, KY; one brother: John Hatton of Lost Creek, KY; two grandchildren: Morgan Combs & Jordan Combs (Hayley); beloved pet: Maggie; special friend: Donovan Smith; as well as a loving host of family & friends.
