Gus O. Bengtson

Gus O. Bengtson, a longtime resident of Heritage Harbor, died January 28,2021 at his residence. Gus was born in Worcester, Massachusetts and earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware. An army veteran, Gus retired from the Federal Government after a successful career as a mechanical engineer with over 30 years of service. Gus was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. He was a longtime member of the Weems Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Bette, he is survived by a daughter, Tammy of Annapolis, Maryland and a son, Richard of Novato, California. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-5 pm at the Hardesty Funeral Home P.A. 12 Ridgely Ave Annapolis, MD ( face coverings and social distancing required) A graveside service will be held at Lakemont Cemetery in Davidsonville MD on Friday February 5, 2021 at 1 PM.
