Billy Eugene Moss, age 87, of Canton passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Cumming. He was born December 26, 1933 to Jim and Minnie Moss. He owned Canton Shoe Repair for 66 years.

Billy is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth Moss of Canton, granddaughter, Brittany and Lee Morgan of Canton; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Wayne Clay of Talking Rock; great-grandchildren, Payton Marie Morgan, and Gavin Thomas Morgan. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his son, Chris Moss; sister, Claudia Brock; and brother, Doyle Moss.

The family will be receiving friends, Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Roper Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Monday, February 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Harold Cantrell, Reverend Buck Parker and Reverend Wayne Wright officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Due to COVID-19 facial coverings are required during visitation and in the church during the funeral service.
