MONCRIEF, William Jeffrey “Jeff”, a resident of Deatsville, Alabama passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at the age of 57. He was always fun to be around. His smile and laughter was what made his personality so big. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gassett Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Union Congregational Christian Church with Rev. Jason Tew officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery with Gassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Mr. Moncrief is survived by his wife Melody Foreman Moncrief; parents Bill & Josie Moncrief; children Rachel Moncrief Turner (Brian Turner), Tiffany Joyce Nelson (Frank Nelson); siblings David Lee Moncrief (Lynn Moncrief), Jeremy Ivan Moncrief (Melissa Moncrief); lifelong friend Mike Owens; grandchildren Talan Moncrief, Waylan Turner, Brian Heath Turner II, Mason Turner, Luke Nelson, and Sawyer Nelson. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Foreman, Craig Richardson, Hunter Moncrief, Jalyn Easterling, Jason Owens, and Chad Armstrong. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Evans, Jerry Pittman, Rocky Pittman, Mike Owens, Barry Sands, and Will Moncrief.
