Diane M. Barnet of Wallington, NJ entered eternal life on January 22nd, 2021, she was 79. Diane was born in Teaneck, NJ to Alfred and Mary (Hilderbrand) Jochim. She was raised in Hackensack and graduated from Hackensack High School, Class of 1959. Fifty-three years ago, she was married to her beloved husband Eugene Barnat, who survives. Diane had worked as an office manager for Dr Stephan Borbely podiatrist, of Elmwood Park for over thirty-five years. She has been a devoted parishioner of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Wallington, a talented baker, enjoying baking for special occasions, especially birthdays and Christmas. She was an optimistic diehard Jet fan, and had a green thumb, enjoying her garden at home. Diane is survived by her beloved husband Eugene, her loving children Gene Jr., Douglas and his wife Elisa, and Kasey and her husband Bobby Casper. Diane is also survived by her four grandchildren Jackie, Michael, Brandon and Jacob, and great-granddaughter Bella. She is also survived by her beloved Yorkie Buzia. Diane is survived by her dear brothers Alfred Jochim and Bob and his wife Bunny Jochim. Visiting Wednesday, January 27th, 9 – 10:30 am, Warner-Wozniak Funeral Service, 80 Midland Avenue, Wallington, NJ. Following visitation, a funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am, at The Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 127 Paterson Avenue, Wallington, NJ 07057.
