Margie Price was born 09 June 1934, in Cadiz, Trigg Co., Kentucky, the youngest of twins, to Vernon and Corrine(Cook) Taylor. When she was a teenager, her family moved to Wagoner, OK where she met and married Alvin Lee Price, Sr. on the 16 May 1951 in Tahlequah, OK. They later made their life together in Tulsa, OK. She was a member of Winnetka Heights Baptist Church. In her younger days she bowled in a bowling league, made ceramics, fished, and played cards with her sisters. She always loved puzzles, cryptograms, and crosswords. More than anything, she loved to cook Sunday dinners for her family and was known for her chicken & dumplings, holiday delight, and fried chicken.

Margie departed this life on 26 January 2021 in Tulsa, OK. at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents; her sisters Nellie Taylor, Marrie Yeary, and Verna Peoples; her daughter Sharon Mayberry and son in law Don Mayberry; and son Alvin Lee Price, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter Patti Frisby and husband Ron of Tulsa, sons Mike Price and wife JerriLynn of Sapulpa, and Halley Price and wife Janice of Tulsa; grand children Linda Williams and husband Jeff, Melissa Hochstetler and husband Josh, Rachel Price, Amber Butler and husband Chris, Michael Price, and Kira Price; 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 12:00-7:00 p.m. Friday at Mark Griffith Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service to celebrate Margie's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Winnetka Heights Baptist Church.

Internment and brief graveside services will be at Pioneer Cemetery in Wagoner, weather permitting.
