Patricia Ann Driskill

PATRICIA ANN DRISKILL, age 67 years of Rollin Township, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 14, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on October 23, 1949, in Morenci, the daughter of George B. and Marjorie H. (Fallon) Britsch. Pat graduated from Morenci High School in 1968, and Adrian College with a BA in Education in 1973. She married Jim D. Driskill on November 28, 1970, in Adrian. He survives. Pat was very talented, as she was an accomplished pianist, seamstress, dress maker and licensed cosmetologist. Her greatest gift was faithfulness, which was lovingly displayed both at her church, and within her family. Pat was a dedicated member of West Rome Baptist Church, and served as a clerk for 38 years. Her family, and especially her grandchildren, loved her dearly, and fondly called her Nana Pat. She was a dedicated employee at Lenco Credit Union and was known as the, "dog lady." She's been handing out dog bones since 1995. Pat's wonderful sense of humor will also be greatly missed by all who knew her. Surviving Pat, is her husband, Jim Driskill of Rollin Township, son, Pastor Jamie (Heidi) Driskill of Adrian, daughter, Jenni (Joe) Linde of Tecumseh, four grandchildren; Elizabeth and Chloe Driskill and Tanner and Tyson Linde, brother, Tom (Judy) Britsch of Manitou Beach, sisters-in-law, Merri Driskill of Adrian, Deborah Speller of Saline and eleven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim's parents, James and Virginia Driskill, and her brother and sisters-in law, Todd (Marsha) Driskill and Diana Miller. Funeral Services for Pat will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at West Rome Baptist Church in Manitou Beach with Pastor Jamie Driskill officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 P.M. at Waldron Cemetery in Waldron. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2017, from 3-9 P.M. at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison. Memorials are suggested to Lenawee County Humane Society or West Rome Baptist Church.
