Leslie C. Double

LESLIE C. DOUBLE, age 75 of Rollin, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at his home. He was born on January 11, 1942, in Chesterfield Township, Ohio to Guy and Anita (Nickels) Double. He married Joyce M. Stubli on October 3, 1964, in Onsted, Michigan, and she survives. Les attended Hudson High School. He lived in Rollin for the past 49 years. He was employed as a set-up man at Jonesville Products for 44 years, retiring in 2007. Les was a member of the Rollin Baptist Church in Rollin. Surviving besides his wife, Joyce are three sons, Norman Double and Dave Pifer of Jasper, Lee Alan (Candy) Double of Napoleon, Ohio, one daughter, Tammy Brackman of Adrian, grandchildren, Joshua Gubbe, Justin Double Jeremiah Double all of Napoleon, Ohio, Krystalle Grace Double of Okemos, Michigan, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Larry Double, seven brothers and five sisters. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2017, at the Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Addison, with Pastor Terry Alverson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon Saturday, February 4, 2017, until the time of the service at 1:00 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
