Luis A. Vidot Obituary

Luis A. Vidot 47, of Russo Street in Providence, passed away on the morning of January 17, 2021.  Luis was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico on February 14, 1973. His father, Juan Vidot preceded him in death and he is survived by his mother, Lucinda Latorre as well as six children; Brenton Hamlin, Tyanna Jayce Marge, Esperanza Vidot, Luis Vidot, Jr., Xavier Vidot, Aryana Rayne Vidot, six siblings; Manuel Morales, Eduardo Morales, Lourdes Morales, Esther Vidot, Deborah Vidot, Esteban Vidot, as well as two of his closest, live-in nephews. Luis had a huge heart and would share it with everyone and anyone. Many have said that when they met Louie for the first time, it was as if they knew him their whole lives. Some knew him as "Scooby", "Tio", "Tuti", "Nana", "Unc", and "Tio Big Lips" (amongst many more). We believe it's safe to say no matter the name he was known by, you knew you were loved by him.  Those individuals that Louie profoundly touched will be an extension of that love.  Louie impacted so many people, and we are sure he will continue to do so through all of us that knew and loved him. His quick wit and resilience was incredibly impressive.  His ability to say the right thing at the right or wrong time was uncanny.  One of his most unique qualities was his ability to retain details. He could recall the tiniest detail to the biggest story line. Why he was this way? He would say "Because I'm me".  We understand that those of you that knew Louie are mourning also, and we would like to offer you our condolences as well. The family will be holding a small, private service for Luis.
