Sherry Rose Farr Obituary

Sherry Rose Farr, 64, of Brooksville passed away peacefully under the loving care of Hospice and with her sister, Margaret Rabon by her side. Sherry is survived by her son Sergio Delaguera and her sisters, Margaret Rabon, Serena Flaherty, Sarah Benjey and Rebecca Shepperd. Notable mention also goes to the Jones family where Sherry spent most of her adult life residing in Jacksonville with her loving partner, Russell Jones and his children, Jacob Jones, Brittney Jones, Anna Serrano (Louis Serrano Son-in-law), and their loving grandchildren Cole and Sophia Serrano. Sherry (Rose) will be remembered by her family and friends as having such a big heart and a larger than life personality. She was a firecracker for sure and could light up any room she entered. She laughed and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a protector of all animals and was known to rescue dogs and cats alike and provide a loving home to those that needed it. She was known to put the needs of others before herself and was so selfless. No matter where Sherry resided in her life, she was known in the neighborhood for her green thumb. She loved to garden and she filled her yard with lush plants, flowers, trees and her pink Flamingos. She had a unique flair for decorating and it reflected her abundant personality. During Sherry's younger years she had a love for horses and won many Equestrian competitions. She is fondly remembered by her sister, Margaret Rabon as having such a unique style with her dark hair and olive skin riding her horses around the farm in Pinckney, Michigan. She was a free spirit and lived her life the way she wanted to and touched all of those that knew her. Sherry (Rose) will also be remembered for her pies and her mastery in the kitchen. She loved to cook and bake and was known to give away pies to neighbors and friends. Her watercolors and artwork will decorate the walls of her family for generations. Sherry (Rose) will be truly missed and she will live on in our fond and loving memories.
