On Monday, January 25, 2021, Nancy Jo Hall passed away at the age of 83. Nancy was born December 21, 1937 in Wynne, Arkansas to Alonzo and Freda McKenzie.
Most of her life was spent in Wynne where she was fondly referred to as “Nanny Hall” by many. She retired from the Cross County Assessor's Office in 2007 and a long-time member of Wynne First Assembly of God. In her later years, she relocated to Southeast Arkansas with her granddaughter, Leigh, and great grandchildren, Drew and McKenzie.
Nancy’s faith was her driving force. She was a prayer warrior! She covered her family and
friends in prayer multiple times throughout the day. Her relationship with our Heavenly Father
was her strength and her refuge.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Freda McKenzie, and her husband
Wilbur Hall.
She is survived by her two children: Mikel (Gail) Hall of Marianna, AR; and Deborah
Vanstory of Siloam Springs, AR; four grandchildren: Leigh (Keith) Brandon of Hermitage, AR;
Jennifer (Rob) McDuffie of Port Charlotte, FL; Justin (Loni) Norwood of West Helena, AR; and
Christina Hall of Marianna, AR; 12 great grandchildren, and one great great-granddaughter.
Graveside memorial services will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Cogbill Cemetery in Wynne.
