Bobby R. Brandon, Sr.

Bobby R. Brandon, Sr., age 69, entered into his eternal life on Saturday June 24th 2017 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX. surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Brandon was born on September 18th, 1947 at home in Van Alstyne, TX to Noel and Goldie Brandon. He met and married the love of his life, Bonnie on November 28th, 1969. He enjoyed sports, family cookouts and gatherings, and more importantly spending time with the grandkids. Bobbys achievements in life were numerous but he will be remembered as a man who loved and is loved. Survivors include his wife of 49 wonderful years,Bonnie of Sherman TX. His sons Bobby Brandon, Jr. of Sherman, TX and Kile Brandon and wife Wendy of Southmayd, TX. His daughter Stacy Wheeler and husband Tommy of Colbert, Ok. 7 grandchildren; Cameron, Christopher, Katlyn, Mattie, Conner, Justin and Dakota. 1 great grandson; Jackson. 2 brothers Jimmy Brandon of Melissa, Tx and Weldon Brandon of Mckinney, Tx. As well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was proceeded in death by his parents. Graveside services will be held at 10:30AM Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Van Alstyne Cemetery, with Pastor John Matey, officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Scoggins Funeral Home, prior to graveside service. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory, 637 W. Van Alstyne, Pkwy.
