Antonetta M. Santurri

<p>Antonetta M. Santurri, 92, of Randall Street, Cranston passed away Friday January 22, 2021 at Rhode Island Hospital.&nbsp; She was the wife of the late Roland Santurri.&nbsp; She was born in Providence a daughter of the late Anthony and Angela (Pellegrino) Faella.&nbsp;</p> <p>As a teenager, her first job was at Kresge&rsquo;s Five and Dime store in downtown Providence.&nbsp; It was at this time she grew to love working in retail.&nbsp; In the 1960&rsquo;s she worked at Burger Corner at Scituate RI, a family owned summertime restaurant.&nbsp; For many years after this time, she was a stay at home mom raising four children.&nbsp; When the children were grown and on their own she opened a children&rsquo;s boutique in Cranston named Lullabys.&nbsp; At Lullabys, she managed the staff and was the principle buyer.&nbsp; Her last job was at APICO Insurance in Johnston, where she retired from and moved on to volunteer work. She was a Cranston Community Action Board Member, volunteered at Meals on Wheels and Cranston Senior Center.&nbsp; She was an AARP Board Member, and a long time member of Tabor Franchi Auxiliary Post #2396. She enjoyed crocheting blankets for family members.&nbsp; She was a member of a country and western square dancing troupe called the Swinging Squares where she made many friends for life.</p> <p>Antonetta is survived by two daughters, Lia Santurri, Susan Harrison and spouse Burr Harrison, son David Santurri and grandmother of six, great-grandmother of two.&nbsp; She was the sister of Barbara Gazzo. She was the mother of the late Stephen Santurri and sister of the late John Faella, Anthony Faella and Clemintina Tessier.</p> <p>She will be sadly missed but she will forever live on &nbsp;in our hearts. We love you.</p> <p>Her funeral and burial will be private due to Covid restrictions.&nbsp; Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of RI 20 West Exchange Street Suite 102 B Providence, RI 02903.</p> <p>Please share memories and condolences at WoodlawnGattone.com</p>
