R. Charles McNeill

<p> R. Charles McNeill, 73, of White Hall, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2021. He was born March 9, 1947 in Pine Bluff to the late Robin Frair and Mildred Joann Lephiew McNeill.</p><p> Charles was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. He worked as a butcher at Safeway and Harvest Foods. Charles loved showing horses and also loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of Hardin Baptist Church. </p><p> Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gary McNeill and Tommy McNeill; and sister, Jennifer Glover. </p><p> Survivors include his wife, Betty Knight Quarles McNeill, whom he married in 1995 in Eureka Springs; stepchildren, Lonny Quarles (Regina) of Grapevine, Larry Quarles of Pine Bluff and Teresa Bennett (David) of White Hall; brother, John McNeill of Hot Springs; sister, Lela Hanks of Vicksburg, Mississippi; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.</p><p> Graveside service will be 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Hardin Cemetery with Brother Josh Blevins officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 PM until service time Wednesday at the cemetery. </p><p> In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

Charles was reared and educated in Pine Bluff, and graduated from Pine Bluff High School. He worked as a butcher at Safeway and Harvest Foods. Charles loved showing horses and also loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of Hardin Baptist Church.
