Shain Martin Stewart Obituary

Shain Martin Stewart, 60, beloved husband of Dawn Helms Stewart, of Greenville, passed away, Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Born in El Paso, TX, he was a son of Helen Bowers Stewart and the late Billy Mack Stewart.

Shain proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Berea Friendship United Methodist Church. He was an employee at Springbrook Behavioral Therapy as well as an accomplished Chef. Shain had a love and passion for music that inspired him to become a musician, but his greatest joy and love was his family.

In addition to his loving wife and mother, he is survived by daughter, Wendy Ledbetter and fiance, Mark; grandchildren, Joseph Emanuele and Shelby Emanuele; two sisters, Sharon Bilgischer and her husband, Jim, and Silvia Chamlee and her husband, Doug; brother, Steve Stewart; his faithful dog companion, T; and multiple nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Berea Friendship United Methodist Church, with the Celebration of Life Service following at 2:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Attendees are strongly encouraged to follow the CDC guidelines on social distancing and wearing a mask.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Berea Friendship United Methodist Church,8001 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29617, or to Greenville County Animal Care, 328 Furman Hall Rd, Greenville SC 29609.
