Sophie A. Radzicki, age 78, a resident of Washington Township since December of 2019 and formerly from Sterling Heights, Michigan, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at her home. Sophie was born September 12, 1942 in Detroit, the daughter of George & Anna Kallakas. She married Dennis Radzicki in 1965 and he preceded her in death in 2005. While living in Romeo, she raised her two daughters and worked in different plastic injection molding companies in metro Detroit. Everywhere she worked she had many friends and lasting memories. Sophie was a kid at heart. She loved laughing and being with friends & family. She enjoyed being silly and making people laugh. She enjoyed painting and lunch with her friends. She loved Polish food, stuffed cabbage and pierogies. She had a special place in her heart for the animals she adopted. They brought her great joy and comfort. She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Debbie Alward (Jerry) of Washington Township and Susan Kimble (Lee) of Upstate New York. Grandchildren include Morgan & Matthew Alward & Kaitlyn, Jessica, & Nelson Kimble. She loved her grandkids very much and loved spending time with them. She enjoyed talking with them and displaying their pictures throughout her house. She was preceded in death by her husband Dennis and sister Victoria Meade. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, January 26 at 7 PM at the Malburg Funeral Home with burial at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan. Visitation & services will take place Tuesday from 3-8 Pm with the 7 PM service at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
