Minnie Slone Perkins, age 87 of Hindman, Kentucky entered eternal rest surrounded by her family on Monday, January 25, 2021 at her residence in Hindman, Kentucky. She was born on October 22, 1933 in Knott County, Kentucky to the late Verlin & Azana Slone. She was the wife of the late Estill Perkins Sr. Minnie was a Member of the Ivis Bible Church in Hindman, Kentucky & was a faithful Christian, Loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Great Great-Grandmother. Minnie is survived by her children- Bernice Fletcher, Shirl (Lon) Taylor, Don (Michella) Perkins, Bernita (Berne) Vasquez, Tim (Tonya) Perkins, Estill Perkins Jr., Kimberly (Tyrone) Watts; Brothers: Bordes (Carol) Slone, Tom Slone; Sister- Lydia (Calvin) Ball; A Host of Grandchildren, Great Great-Grandchildren; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends Minnie is preceded in passing by her Husband- Estill Perkins Sr.; Son- Jerry Perkins; Parents: Verlin & Azana Slone; Brothers- Ruby Slone, John C. Slone, Arnold Slone, Jackie Slone, Talmadge Slone; Sisters- Phyllis Stamper, Mary Catherine Slone. Public visitation will be from 5PM-10PM Wednesday January 27, 2021 at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home chapel in Hindman, Kentucky with services at 7PM with Larry Parke officiating and Bordes Slone, Claudette Watts, Shawnda & Timmy Thacker singing.
