AGAWAM – Virginia A. (Evans) Typrowicz, 76, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Evan and Pauline (Rossi) Evans, she lived in Suffield, Southwick, Florida and moved to Agawam two years ago. She was a 1962 graduate of Enfield High School and worked as the director of bus tours for Peter Pan Bus Lines for 13 years before retiring in 2013. She also worked for the former Coachlight Dinner Theater in East Windsor, CT. While living in Southwick, Virginia was a member of the Southwick Booster Club, the Southwick Recreation Center and was the past president of Boost our Southwick Schools. In Florida, she was in charge of the Newcomers Club in Spring Hill, FL. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Evan Evans, a sister, Pauline Humphries, and a niece, Traci Dzikiewicz. She leaves her husband of fifty-six years, Francis J. Typrowicz, four sons, Todd Typrowicz and his wife Lisa of Long Valley, NJ, Mark Typrowicz and his wife Kristin of Rolling Hills Estates, CA, Joseph Typrowicz and his wife Rhonda of Agawam, James Typrowicz of Feeding Hills, eight grandchildren, Taylor, Victoria, Emily, Jake, James Jr., Alexsy, Josephine, Shane, her nieces and nephews, James Humphries and his wife Ann of Enfield, Donna Rolfe and her husband Brian of Southwick, Owen Humphries and his wife Gina of Longmeadow, Evan Humphries and his wife Staci of Agawam, Christine Sitler, Cynthia Jentsch, Timothy Evans all of Texas, Brian Typrowicz and Jennifer Typrowicz of Florida, a brother-in-law, Ron Typrowicz of Florida, and many great-nieces and great-nephews. The funeral will be Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 at 9am from the Browne Memorial Chapels, 43 Shaker Road, with a Mass in St. Adalbert Church at 10. The burial will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery, all in Enfield. Calling hours are Wednesday at the Browne Memorial Chapels, Enfield from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Organization of Rare Diseases, Attn: Dept. 5930, PO Box 4110, Woburn, MA 01888.
