79, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2021.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Emma (Piccirilli) LaFazia.

Mrs. Belanger worked in accounting for the City of Providence for twenty-five years before retiring.

She enjoyed attending yard sales, playing Candy Crush and Scrabble, puzzles, gardening and watching thriller movies.

She leaves her two children, Norman Belanger of Cambridge, MA and Michelle Belanger Burhoe and her husband Jack of Buzzard’s Bay, MA; a brother, Fred LaFazia of Cranston; and her beloved grandson, Evan John Burhoe of Buzzard’s Bay, MA.  She was the sister of the late Maria Castelli.

Her funeral and burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
