Obituary

Armani Diego Jaramillo, age 13, of San Antonio, earned his angel’s wings in the late evening hours of Friday, January 22, 2021 at Methodist Children’s Hospital in San Antonio.  Armani was born on October 31, 2007 in Amarillo, Texas to Gilberto Jaramillo-Reyes and Jessica Alvarez-Jaramillo.

Armani was a Halloween baby and to him, Halloween was just as much fun as Christmas.  He lived everyday like it was Halloween.  He was your typical little boy, funny and into everything.  He loved cars, swimming and dancing. Armani had a sense of humor that could brighten up any room.  He loved to laugh and make those around him laugh with him.

Armani was a student at Kitty Hawk Middle School where he enjoyed theatre and taking Spanish for the first time this year, but those who really knew Armani know that school was much more about socializing and girls than it was about school.  Lately, Armani has spent much of his free time eating Takis and playing video games, learning to long board with his aunt, shooting his BB gun and watching anime.  Armani loved to cook and had dreams of growing up to be a chef.  Though his time on Earth was brief, the memories he leave behind will live on in the hearts of those he knew and loved for generations to come.

Armani is survived by his parents, Gilberto Jaramillo-Reyes and Jessica Alvarez-Jaramillo; sisters, Azeliah Jaramillo and Arilyn Jaramillo; grandparents, Eric and Maria Alvarez and Melecio and Belia Jaramillo; uncles and aunts, Eric Alvarez Jr., and wife Carla, Gloria Alvarez, September Alvarez, Edgar Jaramillo, Rosa Jaramillo, and Angelica Jaramillo; cousins, Genesis Alvarez, Joshua Alvarez, Mineli Robles, and Roscoe Robles; and by a host of other relatives and very special friends.
