Fred J. George, Jr.
<p>Frederick J. George, Jr., age 73, of Mc Henry, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at UPMC Western Maryland. Born on December 2, 1947 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frederick and Theresa George.</p> <p>Fred proudly served his country in the United States National Guard. He was the proprietor of Reisterstown Auto Services. Fred was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge 1381, VFW Post 521, and Proctor-Kildown American Legion Post 71. He attended St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church - Lake Center in Mc Henry. Fred enjoyed woodworking and spending time playing Rummy and Yahtzee with his family. He was a very kind and generous man.</p> <p>Fred is survived by his wife of 27 years, Evelyn W. George; a brother, Francis George and wife Hazel of Hanover, PA; a sister, Theresa George of Baltimore, MD; three nephews, Keith George, Charles George, Jr., and Mike Hollins</p> <p>In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas George and Charles "Buddy" George, Sr.</p> <p>Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, MD on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 5-7 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2 PM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church - Lake Center, 1140 Mosser Road, Mc Henry, MD 21541.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be directed to HART for Animals, 1265 Bumble Bee Road, Accident, MD 21520.</p> <p>Fred's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to their entire community for the care and devotion shown to them during Fred's illness. </p> <p>The C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is honored to be serving the George family at this time.</p>December 2, 1947 - January 22, 202112/02/194701/22/2021
