Fred J. George, Jr.

<p>Frederick J. George, Jr., age 73, of Mc Henry, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at UPMC Western Maryland. &nbsp;Born on December 2, 1947 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Frederick and Theresa George.</p> <p>Fred proudly served his country in the United States National Guard. &nbsp;He was the proprietor of Reisterstown Auto Services. &nbsp;Fred was a member of the Westminster Moose Lodge 1381, VFW Post 521, and Proctor-Kildown American Legion Post 71. &nbsp;He attended St. Bartholomew Church in Manchester and St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church - Lake Center in Mc Henry. &nbsp;Fred enjoyed woodworking and spending time playing Rummy and Yahtzee with his family. &nbsp;He was a very kind and generous man.</p> <p>Fred is survived by his wife of 27 years, Evelyn W. George; a brother, Francis George and wife Hazel of Hanover, PA; a sister, Theresa George of Baltimore, MD; three nephews, Keith George, Charles George, Jr., and Mike Hollins</p> <p>In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by two brothers, Nicholas George and Charles &quot;Buddy&quot; George, Sr.</p> <p>Friends will be received at the C &amp; S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, MD on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 from 5-7 PM. &nbsp;A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 2 PM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church - Lake Center, 1140 Mosser Road, Mc Henry, MD 21541.</p> <p>Memorial contributions may be directed to HART for Animals, 1265 Bumble Bee Road, Accident, MD 21520.</p> <p>Fred&#39;s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to their entire community for the care and devotion shown to them during Fred&#39;s illness.&nbsp;</p> <p>The C &amp; S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., Oakland is honored to be serving the George family &nbsp;at this time.</p>

So very sorry to learn of Fred's passing. I so enjoyed our conversations even though he usually wasn't feeling his best. Prayers for your comfort Evelyn. I know how much you truly loved each other.
