Charles Phillip “Chuck” Campbell, age 53, passed away January 23, 2021. He was born May 10, 1967 and was preceded in death by his nephew, Andrew Campbell. Chuck lived his life in Tallapoosa. He was a 1985 graduate of Haralson County High School. He loved baseball and he was the catcher on the Haralson County Rebel Baseball Team. Upon graduation, he attended Nashville Auto Diesel College, which led to his love for working on heavy equipment. He was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan. Chuck fulfilled his dream and acquired a place on the lake, where he spent much of the last several years boating, fishing, and spending quality time with family and friends. He loved and protected his family fiercely. Chuck is survived by his wife, Paula Campbell, parents, Phil and Gerry Gail Campbell; their children, Hanna and Zach Welch, Jacob and Anslie Mouchet, Cason and Megan Campbell, Dustin and Paige Campbell, Megan and Justin White, Montana and John Phagan, and Baylee and Chloe Campbell; their grandchildren, Monty, Jacqueline and Naomi Welch, Kynlee and Miley Rose Mouchet, Cooper and Carla Campbell, Maybreigh Kate and Mason Campbell, Walker Charleston, Addison Phagan, and Annalyn Campbell;siblings, Ward and Angie Campbell and Abbe Gail and Shay Sweatt; nieces and nephew, Claire Campbell and Campbell and Ella Sweatt; and mother in law, Jean King. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2021 at 1:30PM in the Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Dr. Mason Bush officiating. Music will be provided by Edd Saxon. Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Elvis Britton, Keith Brooks, Robbie Jennings, Russell Smith, Colt Baker and Adam Mansour. Posthumous honorary pallbearer is Brad Vines. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery with Paul Robinson presiding. His family will receive friends, Monday, January 25th, from 12:00 until 1:30PM. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, we are now requiring that all visitors wear a mask inside. We will be monitoring how many people are in the visitation area at a time and we kindly ask for your assistance by rotating with others in and out of the building.
