Betty Lou (White) Campfield, 93, of Palmyra, passed away at 10:40 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Beth Haven Nursing Center in Hannibal, MO. Friends and Family are invited to Betty's Life Celebration at a visitation that will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Thursday January 28, 2021 at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel in Palmyra, MO. A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday January 28, 2021 at Lewis Brothers Funeral Chapel. Pastor Marty Smyser will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery Palmyra, MO. Betty was born August 8, 1927, in Hannibal, MO to Donovan O'Neil and Eunice Geona Schieferdecker White. She was united in marriage to Cecil Edward Campfield on July 9, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 17, 1977. Betty is survived by her three sons and a daughter, son, Dean (Judy) Stockton of Ashland, MO, son, Dale (Janet) Stockton of Kenai Alaska, daughter Donna (Gary) Miller of Sequim, WA, Son Ed Campfield of Palmyra, MO; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 7 step-great grandchildren, 2 step-great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, grandson Brad Stockton, and 4 brothers; Jim White, AZ; David White, AK; Louis O'Neil White, Hannibal, MO; and Robert White, Ewing, MO. Betty was a wonderful wife and homemaker, the beloved matriarch of a very large family. She cherished the time she spent with her children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
