RAWLS - Bruce Gilbert Passed away on January 20, 2021 with his mother and brother by his side at the age of 55. He is remembered for his generosity and outgoing personality, no one in his vicinity was a stranger for long. He enjoyed traveling and looked forward to a vacation every July. He was a member of the Niagara Section, Mercedes-Benz Club of America, and relished the social functions throughout the year. Bruce was also a long time Mason. He had a strong work ethic and was a respected businessman in the community. Bruce was born to Gail and Howard Rawls of Tonawanda as the youngest of three children. He graduated from Sweet Home High School, where he participated in wrestling. After working in New York City for a bit, he returned to home, family and friends. Since 1991, he ran the family business started by his parents in 1962, Mr. & Mrs. Dry Cleaners on Niagara Falls Blvd., working daily with his mother. Bruce is survived by his spouse for many years, Carol Rawls. Devoted father of Sarah Matthews, Brittany (fiance Travis Hanes) Rawls, Justine (Rob) Hunter; loving grandfather of Brooklyn, Natalie, and Hayden; dear son of Gail and the late Howard Rawls; dear brother of Mark (MaryLou) Rawls and Cheryl (late John) Brooking; adored uncle of Alex, Luci, Eli, and Allison; cherished nephew of Carol Parry, Leon (Pat) Rawls and Faye (Jim) Kuczynski; cousin of Andy (Kathy) Rawls; he will be sadly missed by many cousins, family, and friends.
