Franklyn A. Mohammed

Franklyn A. Mohammed, of Melrose, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021; formerly of Cane Farm Trinidad, West Indies. Beloved husband of Lorayne M. Mohammed. Predeceased by his son, Ishmael Mohammed of Bedford, his brothers Ali Mohammed of Cane Farm, Trinidad; and Lizam Mohammed of Queens, NY; also a very close friend and business partner, Patricia Shuman. He is survived by his loving son, Salim Mohammed and his mother Halima Madden; Sister-in-law Vee Mohammed and nephews Farid Mohammed of Queens, NY, Ali Jr., Fareed and Fazal Mohammed and their family from Trinidad. Franklyn was a graduate of Western University of Ontario, Canada earning a Masters in Political Science; and Suffolk University, Boston, MA, MBA. He was also a successful realtor with Century 21 for many years and cherished all his interactions with clients; making many into lifelong friendships like that of Bruce Shuman. He was a great mentor for all who knew him. Franklyn will be lovingly remembered by many friends and family who share fond memories of his travelling the world, enjoying life to its fullest with love, laughter, and music. Thank you to Franklyn's Windrose Family for their love, attention, and care. Donations can be made in Franklyn's name to the charity of your choice. Due to the current health crisis, funeral services will be private.
