<p>Graveside Services for Ms. Irene V. Hammock, age 84 of Smith County and formerly of Overton County, will be conducted 2 pm Tuesday, January 26th from Old Union Cemetery. The family will welcome friends at the graveside,</p> <p>Ms. Hammock passed from this life on Thursday afternoon, January 21, 2021, from her residence. She was born in Overton County on July 4, 1936, to the late Gilbert and Tina Buck Greenwood. Irene loved her family, listening to country music, and going to square dances.</p> <p>Irene leaves behind her daughter Charlotte Collins and husband Ricky of Brush Creek, TN; grandchildren Shane Collins, Shawn Collins, and Leah Grandstaff; great grandchildren Jacob Collins and Gage Collins; and brother Bill Greenwood and wife Jackie of Hilham.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her brothers Clovis Greenwood, Delois Greenwood, Charlie Greenwood, and Randall Greenwood and sister Imogene Ledbetter.</p>Obituary
