Obituary
Laurie May Keplinger, age 62, of Elk Garden, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born on September 22, 1958 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Dr. Neil and May Williams.
Laurie was a graduate of Bruce High School and attended West Virginia University. She was employed as a custodian by Mineral County Public Schools. Laurie was a member of First Baptist Church in Westernport where she served as the pianist for several years. She was known for her famous chocolate chip cookies and delicious pancakes which she loved making with her precious grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family at Deep Creek Lake and riding motorcycles with her husband Gene.
Laurie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Clifford "Gene" Keplinger; three children, Adam Keplinger and wife Cassie of Gormania, WV, Angela Keplinger and Troy Johnston of Fisher, WV, Andrew Keplinger and Ashley Self of Keyser, WV; grandchildren, Briley and Dustin Keplinger; two brothers, Rev. Earl Williams and wife Jeri of New Creek, Dr. Ronel Williams and wife Sally of Swanton.
Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 710 Church Street, Kitzmiller on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 5-7 PM and again on Monday, January 25 from 10-11 AM at which time a funeral service will be held. Interment will be held in IOOF Cemetery, Elk Garden.
