Marguerite “Peggy” Lynn Guimond. 85, passed away on January 22nd at the West Hartford Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Rose and Richard Lynn. Peggy was married for 55 years to the late Arthur J. Guimond, a Police Officer with the Town of West Hartford, and was predeceased by her sister Rosemary Kehoe. After moving from Pennsylvania to Connecticut, she worked at Connecticut Bank and Trust and Friendly’s Restaurant. Peggy was well liked by all that knew her. She loved the beach and as a child spent summer vacations in Stone Harbor, New Jersey and Ocean City, Maryland. As an adult she spent her vacations in Clinton, Connecticut and Ogunquit, Maine. She also liked playing a good game of cards with the family. Peggy leaves her two daughters, Lynne Palmer, husband Robert and Kathy Pasternack, husband Kevin, granddaughter Jessica, and nephew Joe Kehoe. The family is very appreciative of the Center staff for the excellent care provided to Peggy. Sheehan Hilborn and Breen will oversee the arrangements.
