Graveside Funeral Services for Minnie Lee Burks, age 97, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021, will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. Bro. Barry Lee will officiate the service. A native of Pearl River County, MS, she was a Waitress at The Chef Restaurant and attended Bread of Life Church. Minnie Lee will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Gardner Burks and Geneva Frierson Burks; her sisters, Mamie Dell Burks, Ivaloye Burks, Martha Mailhes, Ina Dawsey; and her brother, Melburn Burks. Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Essie Mae Broadnax and Louise Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
