Paul R. LeClair Newington, Connecticut Obituary

Paul R. LeClair

Paul R. LeClair, 74, of Bristol died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021 at Bristol Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Judy (Rich) LeClair, for 53 years. Paul was active in the Air Force Reserve and worked at B & B Tool for 44 years, before retiring 12 years ago. He spent endless summers at Lake Bashan where he enjoyed boating, swimming, waterskiing and spending time among family and friends where he was proudly known as the “Grand Puba”. In his free time Paul enjoyed long walks with Judy, reading and splitting wood for his woodstove. “Pop” was a gentle man, a friend to all, simply the best and will be missed dearly. Besides his wife, Judy, he leaves his son Brian LeClair, his wife Jill and their sons Tyler and Josh all of Newington, his daughter and her husband Cheri and Todd Plourde of Bristol, his sister Elaine Mozonski of East Haddam and several nieces and nephews. We were so sorry to hear about Paul. He was always a friendly and kind man. He never walked by without stopping to chat, and he loved his grandchildren very much. The Lake won’t be the same without him. The Simmons/ Hoops Family
