Isabelle M. Dreikosen Obituary

Isabelle M. Dreikosen, age 87, of Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, surrounded by family at Wells Nature View Assisted Living, Marshfield. Isabelle was born on May 14, 1933 to Joseph and Ottilia (Richmering) Havlovick. She was raised on a farm and went to school in Marathon City. She was united in marriage to Hilarian E. Dreikosen on July 3, 1950 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marathon City. They had eight children. Besides being a good mother; she at times worked at Figi’s, Younkers, and helping the elderly. She was an amazing cook, seamstress, knitter, crochetier and gardener. She made many quilts, and her flower gardens were beautiful. She loved collecting glass decorative items, especially little glass birds. She adored little dogs. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of Peace Parish. She is survived by her eight children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her children are Gerald Dreikosen, Hilarian (Sue) Dreikosen, Jr., Edward (Sharla) Dreikosen, Bruce (Juliene) Dreikosen, Michael (Judy) Dreikosen, Andrew (Michelle) Dreikosen, Lisa (Jeff) Bauer and Dawn Dreikosen-Raynes. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, twin sister, Annabelle Guralski and brothers, Richard and Joseph Havlovick. Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, a private funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church for the attendance of only her immediate family members (her children and grandchildren). Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Marshfield. Memorials may be designated to Smile Train for she wanted to see all children smile and was a donor for many years. Thank you to Wells Nature View, 2711 S. Apple Av., Marshfield, for the good care they gave to our mother and where FAMILY matters. Thank you, Ascension Hospice for a quick transfer back home to Wells. We will always love you Mom. “I thank God in all my remembrance of you” Philippians 1:3
