Brenda Kay Lewis, 60, of Brooks passed away January 21, 2021 at her home. She was the former director at the Blue Lick Daycare Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Virginia Effinger; husband, Roger Lewis. She is survived by her fiance, Billy Cooper; daughter, Tamera Soto (Manuel); sons, Jason James (Tanya), Bruce James (Lydia) and Micah James (Kathy); step-son, William T. Cooper; sisters, Janet Arnold (Jimmy), Sharon O'Hara (Mike) and Paula Sawaya (John); 11 grandchildren. Her funeral will be 6:00 p.m. Monday January 25, 2021 at Schmid Funeral Home in Mt. Washington with cremation to follow. Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Monday until time of service. Due to the pandemic food and beverages are not permitted. The facility will be at 50% capacity(130). All in attendance are asked to wear a facial covering.
