Mr. Lucious Abraham Garnett

MR. LUCIOUS ABRAHAM GARNETT, was born on Thursday, September 11, 1941 to the late Laura Belle Germany Garnett and Mack E. Garnett in Appling, GA. He entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the University Hospital in Augusta, GA. At a young age, Lucious joined the Lampkin Grove Baptist Church of Appling, GA where he enjoyed many church services with family members and church members. Well loved by his family members and friends, Lucious enjoyed attending family gatherings and the company of his friends. He took much pride in helping someone along the way. Lucious had a great passion for sports. In his leisure, he thoroughly enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Not only was he a great husband, he was a loving father, a wonderful grandfather, a precious brother and a dear friend to many. His presence on this earth will truly be missed more than words can say. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Garnett and his siblings. Those left to cherish his memory: a wife of 56 years, Bennie Jean Burns Garnett of New York (Spanish Harlem), NY; a daughter, Ferendo Garnett of New York (Spanish Harlem), NY; three sons, Delbert Garnett, Ardell (Kimberly) Garnett, all of New York (Spanish Harlem), NY and Lucious (Shenell) Garnett of Connecticut; seventeen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, other relatives and friends.
