John R. Kane

Kane, John R. Age 82, January 21, 2021 of Trenton. Beloved husband of 55 years to Judy. Loving dad of Jacki (Jerry) McGowan, Jeff (Kim) Kane and Josh (Renae) Kane. Proud Pa of Jake, Jesse, Josh, Angelina, Ella and Emmett. Dearest brother of Robert (Kathy) Kane and Marilyn Murphy. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Emmett and Lillian and two sisters JoAnne Corbin and Kathleen Jelsomeno. John was an alumni of St Patrick School in Wyandotte. He attended Western Michigan University and University of Michigan. John’s love in life was his family and he was an educator and coach. He loved boating, travel, sports and watching and feeding the birds. There is a Memorial Mass on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10 am at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Riverview.. Memorial contributions to honor John’s life may be made to the Cutaneous Lymphoma Foundation, PO Box 374, Birmingham, MI 48012.
