Patricia Ann Hippert

Patricia Ann Zins Hippert, a long time resident of St.James, Minnesota passed peacefully on January 21,2021 after a quick but courageous battle with cancer. Patricia (Pat) is survived by her sisters Mary Engen, Carol Jean Odenbrat, and Julie Kuehl, and her brothers Donald and Thomas Zins and their children and Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Edmund and Helen Zins, and her brother Dennis Zins. Patricia had five children. Gary Hippert, Carole Hippert Cardona, Debby Hippert Gomez, Dean Hippert and Mike Hippert. She had many Grand children and Great Grand children who she loved dearly. Patricia worked many years as manager of Caseys General Store in St. James. Pat loved researching and was actively gathering information on her maternal family tree. She had a very quick and clever mind, was an avid reader, and loved taking online courses on a variety of subjects and received several certificates and diplomas. She enjoyed a good conversation and debate and was well versed in current events. She was known as "quite a character" with a witty sense of humor. There will not be a funeral or viewing. Pats ashes will be spread and a small ceremony will be done this spring. Date and location will be announced later. Thank you to all who knew and loved our dear mother, Grandmother, sister, relative, and friend.
