Louise Faye Martell Obituary

Louise Martell (nee Pahtaykan) was born to Frank Masson and Aldina Pahtaykan.  At a young age Louise enjoyed sports, she enjoyed playing catcher for her older brother, Walter. She loved watching hockey whether it be watching her grandchildren or watching hockey on the television. Louise loved the outdoors, camping out, and snare fishing in the spring.   While visiting in Onion Lake she would help her younger brother, Hubert, with fencing or feeding the horses. She would always find things to do outside.  As time passed she slowed down but would still drive the quad, delivering supplies, she loved helping any way she could.  Louise was very proud of her children and her grandchildren.  She spoiled her grandchildren, loved to talk about their accomplishments.  She enjoyed spending time with her children, she would share of her trips and visits with them.  She had many friends and often spoke of her card games or Yahtzee games with them.  She would spend her time either phoning family and friends, or on her “Facebook” reading and sharing the silly jokes.
Louise was predeceased by: her father, Frank Masson (2012); her mother, Aldina Pahtaykan (2015); her nieces, Krystal (2015), and Tracy (2007); her nephew, Lawrence (2007); and her brother, Wilson Mountain (2006).
Louise leaves to mourn her passing: her husband, Charlie; her children, Aaron (Raylene), Laverna, Charlie Jr. (Tracy), Candice Blackbird, Pauline Lasas, Caroline Lasas, Geraldine Cardinal, and Willy Lasas; her brothers, Walter (Rema) Pahtayken, Sherman (Julie) Pahtayken, Glen (Liz) Mountain, Hubert (Janet) Pahtayken, Winston (Shantel) Pahtayken, and Bobby (Shannon) Pahtayken; her sisters, Clara Pahtaykan, Dorothy Pahtayken, Sharon Randell, Brenda (Ivan) Harper, and Doreen (Eval) Lariviere; her 37 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and  nieces and nephews.
